I was thinking they would make good planters, if the
top can come off, or more amusing take the wings
off them, attach them to a roller-coaster and watch
the crew gamely try to distribute cups of hot coffee
and the complementary lemon-scented napkins.
But seriously, they might be more of use
in states
with the death penalty, or any euthanasia
organisation.

//complementary lemon-soaked napkins// - do they all have matching designs? |

You'd have to ask Arthur Dent... |

My daughter visited the Boeing factory a couple of days ago,
and apparently the employee parking lot has been
commandeered for 737s because they can't deliver them. |

And she lived? It's a miracle. |

Connect them to large metal arms around an axis for a
carnival ride. It would be almost like flying, except for the
part where you're in a Boeing 737. |

Reminds me of when I was in high school, and one of my teachers wanted us to
fundraise to buy the Airbus A320 that Chesley Sullenberger landed in the Hudson River
after the engines inhaled a flock of birds. His plan was to set it outside the school and
use it as classrooms during the school year and a museum during the summer. I wanted
to mount it on the school's roof instead, still serving the same purposes. I don't think
we raised a single dollar, though. |

You can get a new, unused 737MAX for less than a dollar at the moment... in fact, they'll probably pay you to take one away. |

Re <link>, the line "This airplane is designed by clowns who in turn are supervised by monkeys." insults both clowns and monkeys ... |
|
|
I am offended by the title of this idea. |

I have 5 dollars and an angle grinder. I spy a bright future in
the trading of scrap hi-grade aluminium alloys. |

Park the 737s nose-to-tail and weld them end to end in a line
between NY and Washington. Renumber the seats
cumulatively from 1 (in NY) to 145,433 (in Washington). |
|
|
Passengers for Washington board through the front door and
make their way down the aisle to their seats in the 145,000-
range. Passengers for NY board through the rear door and
head for seats in rows 1-500. After a moment's sitting,
passengers deplane at their destination. |
