Safe Eating Disorder

Allow people a safe way to binge and purge.

We all agree that bulimia in it's present state is unhealthy. People are going to keep doing it though because gosh darn it! It's effective. I've seen many hot women who were bulimic and I can't blame them. I love to binge as well. I recommend a barf tube be installed in your stomach. Have it come right out your belly (like a feeding tube does). After you've cleaned out your fridge just go in your bathroom and open up the purge tube.

       //Safe Eating Disorder// Isn't that a contradiction?

[po]: Just don’t call him ‘shz’ please - ‘shaz’ is already too close for comfort.

       /sarcasm

       yeah, that's sexy. I just love a bikini-clad woman with a puke-tube.

       /end sarcasm

IMO, when you can see a woman's ribcage through her clothes, she's too damn skinny.
Freefall, Jun 26 2003

sorry shz. oops. think of you as something quite diff.
po, Jun 26 2003

What's wrong [shaz]? Honestly: would YOU do it? You would really let your daughter/wife/girlfriend/sister do it? No matter how hot the lady becomes with this tube; the fact that she had it installed in her body says a lot about what's inside (not referring to the fact that you can SEE the food she eats).

Actually, this could be a good way to tell stupid, shallow girls apart from those who are worthwhile.

Pericles, stupid, shallow girls? = may equal someone who could use some sound advice.

I thought you were more sympathetic...
po, Jun 26 2003

[StoutCow] Funny you should mention that, my ex-girlfriend was the opposite. She would be eyeing my plate before I had finished...
silverstormer, Jun 26 2003

[po] I am sympathetic when somebody has a problem (like, say, bulimia) due to emotional issues and can't fight it. That's the people who need advice, support and help.

Then, according to this idea, there is people who think bulimia could be cool if it was "safe" enough. So, why not install a tube in your stomach just to look prettier? Isn't that shallow? Would you spend a minute of your time talking with somebody who thinks that in order to achieve the beauty standards imposed by society you have to modify the way your body works/risk your health?

I don't know if someone dear to you has ever had an eating disorder. My sister did for a long time and believe me, there is no way to make something so horrible become "safe" or cool. People should stop playing with this.
Pericles, Jun 26 2003

Some people have come close to death becuase of this. Some girl became so weak while in the shower and colapsed and turned purple. Luckuly she didn't die. Don't know all the details, but theres probably more real stories simular to this.
DarkRanger, Jun 26 2003

//fingers down the throat usually work// That's right, they do. Also after a while it becomes quite effective in eroding their teeth, giving them cuts along the back of their hands caused by their teeth and doing quite serious damage to their throat...
