Hypothesis: Most men laugh at explosions and make exclamations like "HWOOAA!! HA HA!! DAAAAAMN!" whereas most women react more along the lines of "Oh my, I hope nobody was hurt."
The idea is for a real simple study, just have a bunch of guys and gals watch videos of various massive explosions and
note the reactions.
In this time of controversy about gender identity, if this is true, we can all get together and hug it out by establishing one undeniable truth about the differences between men and women.
What's that rumbling sound? Hold on, my sensors are reading... it's a little shaky... bon stom... bone stum... OH NO! BONE STORM!!!!

Get rid of recording and gauging the reactions and this would be a winning idea |
So just note it? Will stipulate. |
You may find that men's reactions differ, depending on whether their experience of explosions is limited to movies or includes people getting hurt in real life. |

Good point. My son served two tours with the Marines in Iraq, Ill ask if he still laughs at explosions. Hell probably say How close? I know when he got out he was very hyper aware of junk by the side of the road when driving because of the IED thing. |

Well, the idea is to do a study to see if this is true, and if so, to look into why. |
my theory is that men and women are more alike than the world at large acknowledges. |
Well there you go. Test this, if it comes back that there is no difference, that's relevant info to consider no? |
And if there is no difference, I'd be the first to say "Okay, cool to know. Theory debunked." |
