So now the kitty is asleep on the used air-bag, in the middle of the road...? |
+ for an idea about saving cats, - for not thinking it through (Get EVERY car, EVERY cat to wear one? and the acceleration would still hurt the cat.) |
//kitty can curl up for a relieved nap to recover// That's an aspect of feline behavior I've not seen. I'm more used to seeing kitty become the spiky, hissing fruit of the cat tree. |

+ for [lurch]'s anno. :) Actually, it's a pity the piloerection of kitty's fur doesn't serve as a natural airbag. |

Agree every cat and every car is a bit optimistic, but one cat saved is a little bit more furry love for the rest of us.
As to the 'out of the frying pan, into the fire' aspect, the thought is that
a. Said exploded airbag makes puss more visible, and therefore less likely to buy the farm on account of oncoming traffic
and
b. Cat having had near death experience might get the f*ck out of the road, or transform into apeshit little sharp thing to bust the tires of would be squishers. Or something. |
