All those parents wanna go see a R flick and you got a lil' 7 year old with ya? Most popular theaters such as Edwards and AMC should have a program where parents can leave there children in a day care style room where children 5 to 9 could watch old disney movies, and you won't have to worry about covering your kids eyes durin' a sex scene or when theres lot's 'a' killing. You also won't get no complaint's from people about your'e kid shouting"ooOOOO he said the 'F' word" or "HAHAHAHAHAHA... he fell" when the psycho jumps of a building to his suicidal death before the hero can get the evil conspiracie truth.

Why would you cover their eyes during a sex scene? Just use it for instruction on the facts of live. That way you can make the movie ticket tax deductable.

What do Siamese fighting fish have to do with it?

This seems like a good idea to me. Of course the parents would want qualified guardianship and vibrating beepers for emergencies, but by providing these, the theater would have a good justification to charge enough for the babysitting to make it an additional profit center, as well as selling more tickets to a currently underserved market segment.

It's also good for parents with children much younger than 7, who want to see any kind of movie, not just one with content that's inappropriate for young children.
