Having not been voted out in the first round, the Half-Dozen survives into what was a quieter, more reflective week with 53 ideas added, 173 buns handed out and only 50 bones (hope u is diggin da stats, I is rockin da pivot table dis time). Ideas of a fun and lighthearted nature were preferred, while deadly force joined the cadre of bones-attracting topics. Annotation was heaviest on the subjects of technobabble, military history (yes, again) and <sigh> shouty bouty nude prudes.

Groanworthy innuendo and stereotypes:

Yikes. You boned yourself. — blissmiss, May 19 2012

That must have been... uncomfortable... — Alterother, May 19 2012

I saw a guy jump a startled sheep once. — AusCan531, May 25 2012

Were you in the south island at the time? — UnaBubba, May 25 2012

Unnerving Levels of Seriousness award:

Alterother for delivering a rallying cry on the nature of human potential via some major gutspilling.

"All our ideas are belong to us" award:

ytk for explaining concisely how copyright works.

"Copyright registration applies to a specific work, not an author. And it's not necessary to register at all to obtain a copyright. By international convention, anybody who produces any work automatically and immediately receives the copyright to that work. Registration of a copyright is only an additional means to protect yourself legally from copyright infringement, but it's not necessary to do so (although having your copyright registered will make it far easier to prove your claim in court, and may entitle you to additional damages)."

(That's all for this week, I've got to go and skim upcoming movie plots for vaguely sueable concepts)

       Thanks [oscil8]. Impressive work.

And the full stop/comma ratio was? Come on [oscil8] people are waiting!
xenzag, May 26 2012

And if all this morose cynicism continues next week, I'll spill somebody else's.

       [+] Informative and entertaining.

       Eagerly awaiting the next already...

I wonder if this data will eventually produce a profile of the average Halfbaker? That would be interesting.
Phrontistery, May 26 2012

What would be more interesting would be the profiles of those who are more than two standard deviations from the mean ...

Sort of interesting, but the whole time I kept thinking, this is not worth the effort. You'll never get those few hours back.
tatterdemalion, May 26 2012

       I won, I won!

To celebrate, I release this anno into the public domain.
ytk, May 26 2012

I enjoy the weekly update. Nice again to read.
blissmiss, May 26 2012

A statistic I would like to see (I think this was discussed sometime before) is the ratio of buns/bones that a user hands out, to get an idea of who's the crankiest.

Very nicely done. Thankyou for your hard work on this!
zen_tom, May 28 2012

Absolutely approve of the work you're doing here. I'd consider taking on the next installment myself, but I'm afraid I'm terribly busy at the moment. :(
