Asphalt Carpet Sweeper

An industrial version of a carpet sweeper to clean pavement

When you walk to the swimming pool in bare feet the asphalt seems bent on injury to your feet. The heat burns and the little pebbles cut and stab.

The old carpet sweepers with fiber roller brushes could not handle the stones and little chunks of asphalt. A larger unit of the same general design, but with fiberglass or steel wire brushes is needed. It would collect most of those little beasts.

Now it will just be burning asphalt, not clawing and burning asphalt.

Should work on concrete as well. I manage to burn feet on concrete as well.

You aren't thinking of a street cleaning truck, Shirley?

[+] like a driveway pushbroom, but the bristles spin and launch detritus at passers-by.

I'd like mine with a fine mist-spray after the bristles, to temporarily cool the asphalt.

Quite baked. Search for power broom.

I think he had in mind something like a reel mower.

Move to the UK and you will never have this problem again.
