A backwards "Beureau of Good Advice" where, instead of
"giving" "good advice" to "the troubled", you,
"get" "good ideas" from "folks who are
just as creative as everyone else, but who are just not
necessarily
part of
the traditional productivity mill -- either because they
are not
employed,
or because they are smart enough to want to
spend
most of their time browsing the stacks at their local
public
library." This concept could borrow from hackspaces,
hackathons, fab labs, unconferences, crisiscamps, and
be a
permanent shop located in public library. Inventions and
generated income could be looped back into the space.

So what's the point of avoiding mainstream politics if you're going to die of buzzword overload anyway? |
|
|
(Misread the title as "backspace" and expected some kind of rant about how library computers don't have a backspace key.) |
|
|
I was typing an important e-mail at the public library when I realized that the backspace key was missing, and a disheveled fellow was holding his jacket open to reveal a number of objects somehow attached to the soiled liner. |
