I'm not sure about the merits of the idea, but I'd think that it could be more usefully described as meta data, or a bit of Dublin Core rather than a new tag. |

//more usefully described as meta data// I don't think it's even that. HTML tags describe how the text will "appear" when rendered by a user agent. Meta data provides information about the content of the page. This is just saying "This may not be correct". It will not render any differently (unless the style sheet says so, in which case it's the same as a <span>), and no additional information about the content is provided. It's just a disclaimer. |
