Having those things floating around while performing delicate astronaut work must be such a pain... so I bring you the *overwire* bra! This bra is designed with extra support on top, and almost no support underneath. Keeping things where gravity intended, when gravity isn't around.

[+] good one: I doubt a "sports bra", the other alternative, is optimum for zero-g: unnecessary compression.
FlyingToaster, Jan 15 2010

if I don't ever wear underwire, I sure aint gonna be overwired. even in space.

just something to keep the girls from popping out and wandering off on their own.
FlyingToaster, Jan 15 2010

There are some great videos that unfortunately I probably should not link to.
normzone, Jan 15 2010

We should all avoid such videos. You'd best post the link so we know what to avoid.

Brilliant, sheer brilliance. Damn I wish I would have thought of this. Damn.
blissmiss, Jan 15 2010

One problem or two ? Are we talking "costume malfunction" here ?
8th of 7, Jan 15 2010

I really can't remember with any certainty how I thought of this, either. I think I was daydreaming about the girl who took my order at Arby's, then put myself in her shoes for a brief moment.
21 Quest, Jan 15 2010

       shoes?
po, Jan 15 2010

Damn, those roast beef sandwiches are good ...

Well... the shoes came a little later....

Wow [21_Quest]. You send me (to google images 'weightless breasts' (later)). I wonder if weightless floppy privates are intriguiing for both sexes? I wouldn't know, being only of one.

p.s. Quest is my favowit toofpaste too! (he taunted). But sincerly, folks: Thanks for the mental imagery. Traces of Barbarella. I'll sleep well. You can have the buns [+]

       Request for illustration.
ye_river_xiv, Jan 16 2010

Hm... any artists in the room? My ideas are always open to tasteful illustration, if some intrepid Baker would care to volunteer.

       No gyroscopes?

//just something to keep the girls from popping out and wandering off on their own//

I bun this idea on the merits of the idea alone.

The effect, however, (or, more precisely; lack thereof), leaves me both appalled and disgusted with you [21]
MikeD, Jan 17 2010

Yes, I admit I a am a little ashamed of myself. But then, I'm not an astronaut and therefore remain blissfully unaffected.
21 Quest, Jan 17 2010

Astronauts are not the only malficiaries. <link>
MikeD, Jan 17 2010

Why would anyone in normal G wear this? Anyway, worry not, mon frer! I will make them prohibitively expensive to anyone other than astronauts.
21 Quest, Jan 17 2010

But they should be custom-built... come to think of it you'd probably want another design for heavy acceleration, ie: lift-off or re-entry.

[+]The visual implications give me an idea for 'Zero G' nudity movies.

21 Quest, Jan 18 2010

Well, it is a bit of a turn-on.

       *smacks forehead*
21 Quest, Jan 18 2010

       I walked right into that!

What about for the men? Flappity flap! I can't hear houston!
daseva, Jan 19 2010

For those women who can pass the "pencil test" [link], this would seem to be superfluous.
Klaatu, Jan 19 2010

//I'm just wondering... why the bones?// maybe those people are still reeling from my MFD'd idea about a new magazine featuring upside down breasts from women doing handstands or hanging over the edge of the bed.
Jscotty, Jan 19 2010

       Somehow I missed that post.
