Whilst doing the microtome escape wossername I was truck by how lacking in symmetry most businesses are. symmetery being so pleasing on the eye, I though they might improve their prospects.

A few notable exceptions are the water and electricity companies. They provideth the product and taketh away again.

So, I'm suggesting supermarkets where the staff nip around to yours for a spot of tea and scones, a petrol station where the staff drive your car around the block a multitudinous number times and so on.

Why didn't I think of that?

But, but, but all they have to do is show mugshots of me to the electrons.."Have you seen this person, make the gold leaf on the electroscope move for yes" etc.

From now on I'm wearing a false beard every time I go near a power socket.

Considering the frequency of power sockets in modern life, you'll be wearing that beard nearly all the time, thus negating its purpose. You're better off announcing that you will wear a false beard, then NOT wearing it. Or, if you want to go for the double-fake, actually WEAR the beard.
