Nervous about EMR from your home appliances? Buzzing high power lines keep you awake at night, worrying? Dont believe that they don't cause cancer, or psoriasis, or something else bad? Afraid of the new electromagnetic "heat ray"? EMP weaponry? BUNGCO has you covered. Literally!
With Faraday
Fabric, make yourself a faraday cage of whatever size you want, wherever you need it. Made of a handsome cotton twill, the fabric is sewn with copper (and some silver!) wire in long and handsome loops. It looks good enough to wear, and the loops serve to intercept errant rays.
You may wish to have a BUNGCO EMRologist come to your house or workplace to map out the EMR fields you might be exposed to. Or lease some RF goggles and see for yourself! Then, place Faraday fabric around your house wherever those fields are a problem and see the difference. Do not cut the fabric (you will disrupt the loops) - simply fold until your sizing is correct. Make yourself a handsome burnoose to keep away the heat rays. A turban should shield the brain from those pernicious cell phone fields. Faraday fabric is the answer!
Comes in white, cream, mauve, berry and sea foam.

RF goggles
RF_20Goggles An ancient and terse idea, but one which occupies the niche that latecomers try to fill with their own more verbose versions. [bungston, Feb 05 2007]
Some are more concerned than others, apparently.

this stuff is baked, but i'm curios as to
how the rf goggles work. those would be
worth looking into. |
Looks like this is well baked. [tcarson], I have linked up the HB version of RF goggles,. |

I had a science (?) teacher at school who would tape tinfoil over all the unused power sockets to prevent the EM radiation from "getting out". He didn't teach physics in case you were wondering. |
I hope he shielded all the cable runs in the walls too. |
ISTR that even though there's no current flowing, an AC line does generate a field due to the alternating potential. Am I wrong here? |
[wags]: That's just silly. The sensible thing would be to put a cup underneath to catch whatever drips out, then use it at home. |
I was about to post an idea for faraday roof shingling, but this is a much simpler solution. |
In the last month I've seen two people in my local shopping centre wearing tin-foil hats (or more correctly, homemade aluminium foil hats). There might be a market for this. |
I like the idea of foilpaper hats. One could make them at crafty booths at some outdoor event. I envision commodore-style hats of the sort usually made from newspaper, but using foilpaper. You would want to use craft paper with foil on one (or both?) sides to minimize foil expense and maximize structure. Colored foils are available as wrapping papers and would add panache. One would also need a feather. Or perhaps an antenna? |

Whatever one might think about their intended use, one real use I can think of for these clothes is to protect you from a tazer gun. |
Of course better still would be a suit like this combined with insulated boots and an EHT circuit between the soles and the suit, with a voltage much higher than the tazer, and triggered by the tazer - so you zap the person who tried to tazer you, while being immune to the tazer yourself. |
