Breed miniature cows | |
Lets breed miniature cows, say 3 or 4 pounds. A whole new food industry awaits. While not replacing chicken as a favorite we might see Kentucky Fried Cow or Cow McNuggets. Maybe Shake and Bake for Bovine on your cow fingers. And hey, 4 legs.

Veal would seem to be a good choice for you. |
Veal is young cows, and young cows are already a couple hundred pounds... |
no no! Good idea to breed miniature cows, but not for food. Lordy no, breed 'em for pets! |
"What was that noise, jon?"
"Just my cow, he's ok" |
Or, let 'em wild in the garden as a lawn trimmer. |

That said, your idea specifies breeding for food through some kind of genetic magicianship, so I'm compelled to fishbone it. So close. |

If you make the cows smaller, they will eat more for their weight. So, they'd be expensive to raise for food and would be hard to butcher ( more cases of (now what was it called? )) |

Jonthegeologist, mini-cows would be hard to potty-train, and they wouldn't ask to get out! |
You could raise them in jars and collect 100% of the methane. |
I'll have to run this by my cow-orkers. |

They remind me of those freaky Viking sheep that typically have at least four horns. Not sure which part of Scandinavia still breeds them, though. |
