These gloves would be waterproof at first but with prolonged
contact with water would totally dissolve. They would be
stocked in a water-tight container by the toilet. Combine with
delayed flush for better hygene.

(I've come to the conclusion that) European bidets have a nice neat pile of reuseable (ie: washable) small washing cloths piled(sorry) next to them. Better surely. |

One Japanese toilet pic, see link. Cycles the water coming in to fill the cistern through a pipe which flows out into a basin on the cistern and then into the cistern. |
