spice culture

Spice and Herb imitating bacteria

Genetically modify an innocent bacterium into producing the aromatic compound(s) found in each particular spice/herb.

Now a machine will maintain all these cultures and will produce on demand. For example: If you're making Italian, before cutting an onion you tell the machine you'll need 4 Tbsp of Basil, 3 of Oregano, and a bay leaf. The machine then calculates the amount of each culture needed and inoculates them. In n*rt^2 minutes it spits out the equivalent in flavorful goo.
