microfridge
A device to compliment your microwave oven. | |
We have long had microwave ovens to heat food up rapidly. How about a microfridge that can do just the opposite. Maybe new microwaves could have a heat/cool setting, combining both devices into one.
Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream

"Honey, I overnuked the chicken!" |

"Ok, just nitrofrigerate it for 3 seconds." |

This is called flash freezing, and there are machines that can do it. |

You could do this with something very porous, say bread or sponge toffee, simply by pouring liquid N2 over/through it. As for microcooling a Christmas turkey with stuffing, I dunno. |

Ony it should be called a "macrowave" |
