Non Brits: a club card is a loyalty card from major supermarket chain Tesco.

       I think we've hit a cross-oceanic cultural mismatch here... connotations of "Ku Klux Klan" in the USA are a bit, umm... long story short, don't post immediately after coming home from the local.   

       Not too many stores would accept a KKK card as proof of anything except ignorance (at the very least).
