The word "How?" springs to mind at this point.

       We all were [xen]!
But I never forgot how much I love this place!

I keep all my posts and a number of my favorites from others backed up on a special Halfbakery flash drive. I'm certain I'm not the only 'baker to keep an offline archive, but if we all archived as much as we conveniently can, it would provide another layer of crash security. I think I'll step up my cut 'n' paste activities now that I'm actively pondering this.

I too am glad that [jutta] is back, though I didn't know she'd gone anywhere.

Ironically, it was doing exactly thus with a bit of website copier software which significantly contributed to overloading the system and caused one of the significant crashes. I forget which one.

M'yes... I think I may have glitched the site a time or two by accident as well.
I've been a little slack on my archiving too.

       Didn't notice it was gone.

Monday afternoon and into the evening, I think. Apparently everyone went into a panic.

Darnit, I thought the first lesson was 'DON'T PANIC!'
