what with your tongue? on the monitor? |
Sp: die (Two dice, one die. Like two
mice, one mie.) |
Budum tsh! Rim shot...get it? Rim sh...<tap, tap, tap> is this thing on? |
We apologise again for the fault in the annotations. Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked. |
Will these be the standard D6 dieceses(es), or will you use the racier D4, D8, D10, D12, D20 or D30? |
...and why exactly are random faces used? |
....and why aren't tabs opened? |
.....and why are the dieces on the links? |
......and how many die(s) are we talking about here? |
.......and why is this better, more interesting, easier, cheaper, or faster than the current process of clicking links? |
These are all valud questions, which could be easily discussed by editing in a second paragraph to your original idea. Once the true purpose for using dice is explained, I will know enough to be able to vote one way or another on this idea. |
My interpretation of this is that the user is suggesting a series of favicons that rotate on use. It might be possible using XHTML and I can certainly imagine some gaming websites being interested, but it sounds like it would be more effort than it would be worth. |
Certainly, if you had a site about dice, it would behoove you to have a random roll as your favicon! |
jutta, I know I for one would certainly enjoy a random roll, now and again. |
I'd rather have a Coke Zero than a tab. |
ye_river, will there be any diosceses monitoring these dieceses, or dieces, or dice, or even a die? This is better because you lick the link instead of clicking it. |
po, I'd rather lick a monitor than a mouse. Lizards are well known to be cleaner than rodents. |
//or will you use the racier D4, D8, D10,
D12, D20 or D30// There is no need to
stick to Platonic dice if they are merely
graphical whimsies. A five-sided die
should be feasible, Shirley? |
//Lizards are well known to be cleaner than rodents.// |
Just don't let one bite you! Id rather be bitten by the rodent. |
I too am intruiged by this idea of using the
tongue-screen interface as a new form of
human-computer-interaction. I fear though that the most enthusiastic adopters of this technology will be from the online porn industry. |
Isn't the tongue the most advanced
muscle in the body, as to being able to
articulate itself in all directions and
make weird shapes.. and stuff. Oh well,
if we develop an input device that
worked with your tongue, there'd be
some kind of tongue-stress-syndrome
like carpel tunnel, but for your tongue. |

Mother: "Why are you talking funny,
Jimmy?"
Jimmy: "I had to type up a long report
for english class." |
Now Jimmy has a proper excuse for
when he gets wasted and stumbles his
words. He can blame his stumbling
body on a bad case of the Wii's. |
