...come with their own hair pins.

crabs would make great hats - super colour, all shiny, big enough to cover the average head and they don't slip off...

Of course, once you've got crabs in your hair http://www.netdocto...andhair/206703.html
...they ain't so easy to get rid of. (So I'm told.) [DrCurry, Feb 23 2006]

They're about 18" across, and you can box with them. You feint and they try to pinch you. Be certain there is no surge flowing, or you can drift closer than you intended. [normzone, Feb 24 2006]

Why would you imagine I was of the porcine tribe?

       hey DrCurry, you got Tuna?

Is there an inside story here?
RayfordSteele, Feb 23 2006

No. [The Kat] is mentally ill.

I'm not sure that everyone here isn't speaking in some kind of code. But is the idea actually to put crabs on your head?
hidden truths, Feb 24 2006

       Problem, [ht]?
Shz, Feb 24 2006

This could start a whole new craze in crustacean fashions (frustrations? crustions?) Shrimp earrings, lobster boots, crab hats...
neutrinos_shadow, Feb 24 2006

I voted for it. I just wanted to check I wasn't being misinformed.

[+] for the image of a colorful crab hat with pinchers flailing wildly intimitating everyone. Oh yes, and scarfing free snacks and drinks. :)

Spider crabs have long enough legs to tie them together under your chin, like a crustaceabonnet.
jonthegeologist, Feb 24 2006

Imagine if everyone's hats start to turn on the same day. Ick.
PollyNo9, Feb 24 2006

       turn? go off?

       these are live babies...

Hermit crab earrings would make a nice accent. And if you managed to bag one of the camoflaged crabs who walk around with sea anemones on their backs you could build an upsidedown fishbowl, adhere it to your head and watch the tentacles drift pleasantly around. Of course, the crab might drown...But it would look nice. :D
Yarr, Feb 26 2006

I think I speak for the general populace when I say that I don't want crabs in my hair, nor in the hair of those near and dear to me.
