Why not

With all this talk about space elevators and whatnot, people seem to have forgotten a good purpose for carbon nanotubes. The strongest dental floss ever could be produced. Because of its incredible strength it would soon become the most useful stuff after duct tape. Imagine: "OH, well... I don't have any rope but I can tow your car with this dental floss in my pocket". Makes an ideal present, and an easily disposable murder weapon. Yes... nanotube dental floss will be grand.

And will provide an incentive to produce nanotubes for cheap!

I gotta pay more attention to stupid spelling errors, any good ideas for that?

Even when nanotube becomes as cheap as dental floss, I doubt it would be suitable for that purpose.

On the plus side, it will help keep your teeth their whitest. On the minus-- it might cut your head off.

Reading that gave me the same sensation as watching someone chew on a ball of tin foil.
Have you ever seen how fast a wire saw can cut through a tree trunk. Ouch.
