If you press on your abdomen more pee comes out, making one feel slightly "overpeed". That suggests internal muscles can be externally augmented.

Could a computer controlled strap-around balloon pulse with labor contractions to more effectively deliver a baby? Somewhere between a hernia belt and a labor accelerator balloon.

       Plan B, presumably, is to stand in a lift with a rapid acceleration.   

       It's also worth noting that the parental cost meter starts running as soon as the cord is cut. On that basis, it might be better to delay the birth as long as possible, or at least for a few years.
