       No, it just means they're idiots. Actually, in retrospect, I take this back; it means just that they like the patterns. I don't see anything wrong with that, really...   

       I once heard a tattoo artist <friend of my brother's> tell a story about someone who came in and asked for 'something tough in Chinese'. The artist did so, and the -ee was later in a Chinatown, and people kept pointing and snickering...finally someone asked 'Why does it say 'Milk' on your neck?'
