Wicked Witch of the West Candles

I'm melting! I'm melting!

These special candles are formed in the shape of the mean old wicked witch of the west. If you light one, a clevery hidden speaker in the base starts moaning, "I'm melting! I'm melting!" in that horrid voice of hers.

       Thank you.

It could fill lulls in conversation at romantic candlelit dinners.

This would be good the night before a divorce... or just plain novelty. (+)

       Your applause is appreciated.

And if you play Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album while burning the candles, something magical happens. Trippy.

You, and your little dog too.

Clevery? Actually, clevery would be a good word...

To mean possessing or implying qualities of cleverness? Or to mean slightly clever?
harderthanjesus, Aug 21 2004

How long would the witch keep moaning? I think I would get tired of listening to it after a minute or two. Nevertheless, I like the novelty of your idea. (+)

But to be really authentic, it would have to melt from the botom.

Wicked witch of the west shaped sodium nuggets. I guess yours is safer. +

       Tacky.

Btw, is this allowed on the HB? You know, "an x in the shape of y"?

I'll take a box. My winged monkeys will be around directly.

Water, not fire, melted the witch. Scarecrow was the the one that burned a bit. Dorothy threw water on him to put it out and water ended up on the witch. Witches broom burned some. A candle with two wicks and a squirt gun ?

Better get good product liability insurance. I foresee customer's houses burning down.
