Flexible electronics are increasingly feasible with the development of semi organic displays and optical fiber circuits. Thin flexible polymer batteries are currently being developed; I have seen working prototypes.

I don't want to carry two things if I can carry one.

The wallet phone mouthpiece is on one flap and the earpiece on another. There is a little catch that keeps the money from falling out while you talk.

If you forget where you put your wallet, you could call it with another phone or use GPS tracking.

You might say that the wallet phone would be as big as the wallet plus the phone, that the idea is roughly equivalent to taping one to the other. I agree, I wouldn't want one if it were too big. Maybe with miniaturization, clever packaging, or limited capacity for credit cards, it could get small enough to be more convenient.

Money and credit cards are passe'. With clever software, both will disappear soon.

I like that I could call my wallet to find out where I lost it.

Sure, I would buy a portfolio case. Yet it wouldn't be flexible and the folding unit is the size of a full phone.

So, do we want a Swiss Army phone?

Sure, then we could call the pope!

I'm ambivalent about having my wallet & my phone combined. On the positive side, I could in fact put my money where my mouth is, but the downside is that I would very likely see an huge increase in my cell phone fees because, as we all know, money talks...

       So, [ ] from me.

I wouldn't want to routinely put something near my face that sits on my left cheek all day. Neither bone nor bun...
