The hostess explains the ground rules: Inside the menus are electronically tagged pins corresponding to the different drink and food types.To place an order, you poke the pins inside the voodoo doll of your waitress on the table and from across the room a glowing dot will appear on the waitress's uniform. The kitchen automatically receives the order and the waitress knows from the color of the dots on her uniform which table needs service. When she gets the food from the kitchen and delivers it to the table, she has broken the curse and removes the pins from her doll.

       Ah...you're right, that's much better.

       I love this concept. At the risk of causing a few spills and blunders, can the voodoo points on the waitress buzz or vibrate in the same spot as the glowing dot? This restaurant will sell the hell out of some cherry pie. Just sayin' ;)

       So, each table in a waitress' section has its own color? Say there are three couples in a section and they all want to start with a caesar salad...that's 6 lights that have to light up, all in the same spot on the uniform, and one with no croutons. I'm having trouble picturing this going smoothly.

       //no croutons

       Maybe a special order pin (Blinking?), asking the waitress to stop by and confirm before it automatically goes to the to the kitchen.

       Perhaps...yes, I think I like this.

       There is also the potential for an acupuncture variation that someone else could develop.

       This would cause some to request the most anatomically interesting tables.
