School buses polluting your area with diesel exhaust?

School kids out of shape?

This bus kills two pigeons with one stone.

See link.

how many gears has that bus got?

       - they could be reversing.
hippo, May 09 2003

and please leave the pigeons alone. how many more times?
po, May 09 2003

       Child labor at its best.
oatcake, May 09 2003

Shouldn't there be school bags hung over the sides of the bus in place of shields on a viking boat?
Aristotle, May 09 2003

They can have wars between buses.
oatcake, May 09 2003

I used to *like* field trips.
lurch, May 09 2003

I think the oars catch them on the head or something.
po, May 09 2003

There should be a dragon head, or a Pikachu head, or some sort of prow ornament.

       How Do Vikings Communicate?

       Norse Code....

I'd like to go to a Viking school.

Mandatory horns on all basesall caps.
No not the ones that honk.

Poor kids, the winds are against them.
bristolz, May 09 2003

       How about a bobsled bus?
oatcake, May 09 2003

Actually the Viking Bus would be hilarious for a parade, especially for a school whose mascot was the vikings.
bungston, May 09 2003

Instead of oars, how about pedals?
mrthingy, May 09 2003

This would definitely be a hit here in Minnesota - are you geared up for production yet?
aredant, May 09 2003

bungston! You just reminded me that my high school's mascot *was* the Vikings! I guess I did go to a Viking school after all, and had forgotten it.

Thinking back, though, I don't seem to remember being able to eat lunches of fire-roasted giant roast beast with my bare hands, flying Valkyries in skimpy metal bustiers, or classes in elementary pillaging.

       (sigh)
beauxeault, May 09 2003

How does it clear power lines? What about fire hydrants? Is there a rudder? How many knots does it get? Is there a fishing license? What about fresh water? Do they chant "Hail to the bus driver" in the minor key? Do they pillage the suburbs? Why am I soft in the middle when the rest of my life is so hard?
(Nice drawering!)

A school bus powered by the child passengers pedaling. Those unwilling to pedal can walk to school down Broken Dream Road. ( Uphill both ways. )
