Some time ago I found out about tissue banking, a process where a surgeon parks a body part in an anomalous location connecting it to the blood supply while waiting to reattach it. I recall a picture of a man with an ear on his thigh. In any case, I recently saw a man with metal spikes in his forehead,
and while I thought this was smart and fashion forward I thought it might be nice to have a more "organic" look, hence "toe to forehead surgery". The blood supply in the scalp is excellent, and I believe that there is a possibility for wiggling with some help from the frontalis muscle. Nail beds could be removed for a more "cute little nubbin" look, and they come in a variety of sizes!

My pet mouse can't believe his ear. |

This is entirely possible to do, which usually gets a bun from me. But frankly, this is even beyond my fairly large tolerance for body modification. [+-] |

Toe rings, get your toe rings here. We size them. |

Now that the kind of thinking the HB needs more of! |
|
|
wouldn't you fall over.. with out your toes? |

But headstands would be easier. |

+ for the mental picture. |

Would this make biting your toenails easier, or harder? |
|
|
Harder. Have you ever tried to bite your forehead? |

I don't think it was *that* part of her head that someone was screwing with. |

Certainly makes playing footsie more interesting. |

This has been here for a week now and I'm still wondering: Why? |
|
|
This has been here for six years now, and I'm not wondering at all. |

Hang on. You mean nobody else has done this? |

You go first, oh brave one... |

You're not entirely alone,[Max], don't worry. [link] |

[bliss] I think [Max] is saying that the job has already
been done...not that there's anything wrong with
that, right? |

Sunglasses have been a real ordeal over the last few years. |

I thought I picked up a bit of remorse (and maybe a
touch of horror) in your previous anno. But, wasn't
the ordeal offset somewhat by having such a
convenient place to prop the glasses, instead of on
top of the head? Put 'em on your toes. |
|

Makes sense. Nobody really needs the other 4x2 toes. |
|
|
//with some help from the frontalis muscle// What you
want is to transplant the toe along with bit of, say, flexor
digitorum brevis still attached, and reroute a minor branch
of the facial nerve to innervate it. With luck, and
patience, and practice, you'll be able to creep out anyone
but Zaphod "I get stranger things than you in my breakfast
cereal" Beeblebrox. |

Just the thing for a 20-something who fears getting sucked
into the corporate 9 to 5 lifestyle: couldn't possibly get
past the interview for such a job. |
