This is a pretty good idea. The material of the purse could
be woven with a fine conductive mesh charged with a
microcurrent, and a small ohm-reader would detect the
change in resistance if the purse was slashed open. It
would take so little charge that the batteries would last
for years. |

" ... purse is forced open a small explosive charge detonates giving away the location of the purse ... " |

Well, maybe not THAT small ... |

A kilo or so of torpex ought to do it. |

Egads, an upgrade to the Nasal ATM, a fingerprint reader inside on of the false nostrils, simply insert digit and move around to get the scanner to read the print. |

Just out of interest, some people (including me) get heat dermatitis and our fingers smooth out above 28 degrees or so.. |

I second the idea of having an explosive charge in
the purse that goes off when the thief opens it, but
don't like the "small" part. |

How about a bear trap purse? |

If it was adult female sheep sheepskin, I'm presuming the ewesury law would apply as well? |
