The Thinking Beard and Boffin Brows

Worn around the neck rolled up in a small case, the Thinking Beard can be carried with you everywhere for when someone asks you a deep and ponderous question.

'Just one moment, i'll put on my beard' you may say as you slip the two wire hooks over your ears. If it is a very thought provoking quandry, Boffin Brows may well need to be applied. Also worn in a small case around your neck, they can easily be fastened to your forehead area with the little self adhesive tape on the back. These overly bushy eyebrows are shaped in such a way that one brow is raised high to give the impression of extreme and almost comical puzzlement.

From here it is best to pace back and forth about the room, stopping every now and then to gaze out the window. Continue this until the person who asked the difficult question has gone away.

Can this be used with the chin-stroking appendage?

You could just say 'I don't know'....it would save the user from complicated social disorders in the future. Anyway, what if the user already has naturally comical eyebrows and facial hair?....

then back and forth pacing would be sufficient.

This idea is genious! Does the beard include side burns? Or is that just a little too much?
fridge duck, Jan 13 2005

sideburns . . hmm, interesting question - i'll just put on my beard

What about for female deep thinkers? The brows sound ok, but the beard might clash with my ensemble.

Good lord, you're a genius, [ben]!

[robin], you really ask the tough questions. I tried to figure something out that we can put on besides a beard and bushy eyebrows and I came up with something that will make women everywhere look supremely intelligent when the need arises. Check out the girl in the link I posted. Now doesn't she look intelligent *and* sophisticated? A real academic man-eater.

[Machiavelli], Oh yes! If those glasses work for us as well as they seem to be working for her, we'll be practically busting with deep thoughts. I'll take one in every color.

How about a prosthetic, bloated forehead and large glasses?...oh yeah, and a lab coat...and lots of pencils and pens in the top pocket...in fact, this goes for every socially inept science department professor I've ever met when I was at University...(but their foreheads were real).
