This is a booth where you can pay a nominal fee to generate a realistic simulation of echoing mountain valleys. But it only sounds like a huge echo, from where you stand. During your allotted time, you may sing, shout, and/or enjoy a therapeutic scream. Its located in the city center, and probably
in a few science museums.
Select a destination, and its displayed along with a carefully mapped echo of the spot. Choose sound effects, such as eagle call, wolves howling, whale song, etc. Sites include the Himalayas, Grand Canyon, the Marianas Trench, and Westminster Abbey.

Or go stand under a bridge in Central Park for free. |
|
|
A big 'Yes.' I did occasionally do some singing under bridges, but it's no longer considered safe, so I had to stop. *sigh* + |

Get a sound card that supports EAX and you can do this at your desk. |

FJ: Aha - now we know what you do for a day job! |
