work into this site, covering the expense of it's maintenance
without any monetary compensation. I think you've created
the most interesting and compelling social site on the web
and I appreciate this great thing you've made for all
of us to
enjoy.

Well, by “literally”, I mean “metaphorically”. And by “saved” I
mean “caused me to idly spend a great deal of”. And by “life” I
mean “time when I should have been doing other things”. On
second thought, by “literally” I really did mean “literally”. |

deal to me. I once heard the site described as a “big virtual
couch”, and that's about as apt a description as I can think of.
