Surgeons get to play at Frankenstein

As you go in for that liver swap and as the anesthesia takes hold you wonder again about that discount box you ticked on the form....you're dressed in Frankenstein monster suit with self-adhesive neck bolts, surgeon and assistant reveal the Dr Frankenstein-ien frock coat and Igor outfits under the surgical greens...

They slope off to a small mock-cemetery around the back of the hospital, kept in perpetual darkness by black tarpaulins, complete with the odd owl hooting sound effects.

Surgeon and assistant dig through sterilised black polystyrene (acting as the dirt) to get to coffin, the new liver is in a fake corpse, they retrieve it....

Meanwhile the rest of the surgical team have rushed into place the Jacob's ladder and other high-voltage equipment, kept in concealed compartments in the operating theatre...

Surgeon and assistant do the op, meanwhile cackling "Mad, they called me mad, I'll show them!!" and "Yes, master" at the appropriate bits, finishing with "Life! I've created life!!!!" as the patient starts to come around...

De-costuming and hiding all the equipment takes place....and ready for the next transplant.

You get a cheaper op, and the surgical team get a break from humdrum.

       As long as you have all that equipment set up, and if you wouldn't you mind terribly, relocate that pesky prostate for me? <linky> I'm thinking of perhaps placing it in a front vest pocket as a handy watch fob. [+]

       Are you all happy now?

       Is that better?

       I liked the original title (novelty organ transplants), but don't change it for me: it didn't have anything to do with the idea.

       That would be totally weird if the Assimilated ones all just pass out at the sight of a needle..incongruity overload...

       Picard just using huge holographic projections of dentist chairs (with drill sounds) to repel the invasion...

       //Definitely needs more themes though.

       I'm easy, this was just the most applicable. Could also do stage magician style, rather clunkily...surgeon gets to don magic hat, holds new organ in hand...patient placed in the audience...calls for a volunteer..and so on.
