At each monthly meeting, members would vote on ONE and only one new member to join from the pool of monthly applicants. Applicants would submit proof of their name (copy of birth certificate, for example) and hope to be chosen as that month's sole new member. Applicants could reapply again and again,
but every application would cost a nominal fee, generating revenue for the exclusive "Weird Name Club."

A lot of celebrities would qualify. |

Sodapop and Ponyboy Curtis would be in this club. |

Neil Andrew Megson changed his name to Genesis P- Orridge. |
|

Christine Carol Newby didn't like the name Christine and prefered to be called Carol. After meeting P-Orridge she changed it to Cosmosis. finally she chose Cosey Fanni Tutti. After the Mozart opera Cosi fan tutte. |

I didn't mark this because the idea itself didn't seem to me to be an explicit call for a list. |
