Have you ever wondered why those Genius Wachowski brothers couldn't get a computer that could make movies go as fast as reality?

Why are those damn shootouts in the matrix soooo ssss l o w . . .

Now, you can watch the Matrix as it was meant to be seen! In Real Time!

Somebody with Adobe Premier, a DVD rip, and too much 'Real Time' on their hands made Real Time Matrix!

How did he dodge that bullet?! It was so fast!

Oh My Gosh! He can move faster than a normal human being! He can fly! He's superman!

Of course, this idea would be totally copyright infringing.

And totally dumb. It was bad enough as it was. Watch it on fast-forward.

       Barely an idea.

It's certainly more of an original idea than your "Dark Side of Oz" DVD that you watched while you were high, and thought "Wouldn't it be cool if..." and posted your idea to halfbakery.com and then found out they already did it.

Besides, if you fast forward it, then the normal speed parts are too fast.

I have never seen Dark Side of the Rainbow, high or otherwise, and no one has released a compilation DVD legally. The idea was for the companies that own the material to get together and produce a legit DVD. I have never seen that suggested elsewhere and to my knowledge it has not been done.

Comparison to other ideas does not justify an idea's existence. "Matrix, but slow parts faster" is dumb. Sorry. I'm convinced it's not an idea now.

You could pick a better battle. This one's not worth it.

I am consistantly amazed by the willingness of this body to declare entries "not an idea". Not only is this an idea, but it is in keeping with the spirit of the Half-Bakery by...

OK, here is where I stopped caring...

Croissant though, for coming up with a new idea

Yeah, but this version of the movie is only 1 hour long...

//willingness of this body to declare entries "not an idea"//
Don't judge the whole bakery based a couple of curmudgeons who get their jollies by raining on others parades. Ignore them and/or delete their annotations if you feel they are off base.

Speed the whole damn thing up. Halve the screen time allotted to pointless cod-philosophical yakking and undermine the "serious" thrust by having the Reeves et al talking like the Chipmunks.

I'm consistently amazed at the crap people are willing to accept as valid submissions to the halfbakery. Let's call it even.
waugsqueke, Jul 22 2003

Yeah, did you get a load of that "Dark Side of the Rainbow" Submission?!

       Sheesh! What a Maroon.
