Psycho cat

The spirit of pure evil

(+4, -4)

A figurine of Norman Bates from the movie "Psycho", built around a "waving cat" mechanism and holding an exceedingly sharp real knife, with which it constantly makes vicious overarm stabbing motions.

Intended to demonstrate the real intentions of cats toward all other life forms.

       Okay but how does it resemble a cat?
Voice, Jan 01 2021

       It has nothing but evil intent toward all other living things.

       I like this a lot.[++] It could be a simple modification to one of those Japanese cat figurines that continuously wags its front paw backwards and forwards in an arc.

       The DeLuxe version plays the "Psycho" discordant violin noises when approached, triggered by a PIR sensor.

       One variant of the figurine will be dressed in a removable cat costume with a "tiger-striped" pattern, and have the tagline "Stabby Cat" ....

       Cruel, evil, and cheesy. No.

       // Cruel, evil, and cheesy. //

       And the problem is ... ?

       This is a BorgCo product, after all.

       Will there be an "American" variant featuring Christian Bale in a raincoat? Ideally some cat-like features would remain.
sninctown, Jan 02 2021

       // some cat-like features //

       An infestation of fleas, a compulsion to murder songbirds, and a tendency to defecate in other people's flower beds ?

       // It has nothing but evil intent toward all other living things //

       Kitty loves you. Kitty wants to strop your pant legs thus leaving fur, walk about your countertops thus leaving more fur and tiny footprints, playfully shred soft goods that were seen, in its predatory mind, as evil and naughty and race about the house at warp speed at all hours of the night thus maintaining prime muscle tone and mental acuity. Clearly you don't understand and appreciate kitty properly.

       This seems like a tautology...
RayfordSteele, Jan 03 2021

       [-] There was a niche and the cat filled the spacetime. All behaviours in the continuum, just none holistically over powering the others.

       Pure evil, in the scope of the universe, really?

       [po], yeth, thrts whart I swaid, Pwsycho!

       ... and it's about a cat. If any further proof of the "pure evil" allegation were needed, there it is.

       You keep saying "pure evil" and I find it credible.
Then you keep pointing at the cat. No, dearest BEM, you're trying to deflect. Stand up and take it like a sapient.

       // I find it credible. //

       Ah good, the "FOX News Intensifier Ray" is working well... you don't really need that tinfoil hat, do you ?

       // Then you keep pointing at the cat. //

       Technically it's a laser target designator, but yes.

       // No, dearest BEM, you're trying to deflect. //

       ... and succeeding; after all, we are well known for having highly sophisticated adaptive deflector shields.

       // Stand up and take it like a sapient. //

       Preferable to bending over, we suppose ...
