Primal Shutdown

The Scapegoat of input devices

This device is a large, red, durable button that sits on your computer desk. It has a cable that connects it in-line with your keyboard. It's sole function is to send the ctrl-alt-del characters when severly mashed on. When your Windoze freezes, pound on this thing instead of giving that awkward three-fingered salute. Far more satisfying. Equally as useless. Other models would include loveable characters, and heads shaped like CEO's of major software companies. Sold for $14.95.

There is something similar to this. It's a peice of software that can detect when your cat jumps on the keyboard and tries to type for you. When it does, it emits a loud sound from your speakers, giving your cat quite a start. The link is in the link section.

How is the above similar to the original idea?

Actually i plan to build something on this style into box on which my monitor stays. But i want assign it not to most_used_windoze_command ctrl-alt-del, but to reset fn. It will be much easier. Why these f*****g manufacturers started to sinkin' this basic livin' need into box <g>? It's boring to look for some spiky thing to reach it.
