Power Whack A Mole

How fast? How strong? Watch your toe!

Whack a Mole. The Strength Tester. Two great carnival games that grew up as next door neighbors but never really gave romance any thought. Now it is time. BUNGCO has brought them together, put on the mood music and dimmed the lights.

The progeny: Power Whack A Mole. This is the same game as Whack A Mole, but lowslung, big and durable, and played with a huge wooden mallet. It is not enough to whack: one must whack hard! As the game progresses, the Strength Test meter gradually rises up the pole - rising each time a mole is whacked, but in proportion to how hard it is whacked. Those contestants with the requisite combination of accuracy and strength who ring the bell will be given a wooden mallet of their own to tote about the carnival, then hang on the wall at home.

       Awesome.

Maybe it doesn't capture the grand scale or multiplicity of moles in [Bungston's] idea, but a Whac-a-Mole/carnival strength tester hybrid has been baked.

I like to think that people who make things happen for a living keep one eye on the halfbakery, to provide grist for their mills. I consider products like the Tower as proof.
