Imagine being a co-passenger in a bus led by a Keanu Reeves look-alike. And it goes through all the obstacles that they face. I would love to feel the adrenalin-rush as a bus that I m sitting in flies off a ramp. Thats the service that should be offered. Obviously either the proper rights would have to be obtained to protect the IP of the movie makers. Or the movie makers could extend their revenue streams by offering such a service. I assume the idea is similar to http://www.universalstudioshollywood.com But I would say the park should be extremely versatile so that earnings can be optmised as peoples preferences change. Of course, the in-movie brand placements can continue in the real-life simulation and can be a strong revenue stream.

"At C&Y Chinese Restaurant, the official restaurant of the “Christmas Story” house, waiters copy the movie’s Christmas turkey scene by taking a roasted duck to customer’s tables, where they chop its head off with a giant cleaver." [Klaatu, May 08 2011]

I think I've done parts of "Airplane" on various cheap airlines over the years. Does that count? Talk about the old runway in Bucharest...too scary...

No, please don't talk about Bucharest airport, or LOT. We have no Illuyshins about how unpleasant it is …

I understand that there are families who recreate A Christmas Story, yearly, including all of the dialog. Failing that, you can buy a piece of Ralphie Parker's original wood siding for $60.

<not morrison rm> Have you done the part where you all line up to beat the woman for freaking out?

       I had the lasagna.

       "A ticket to Minsk, please."
"Aeroflot?"
"Flot."

Aeroflot had the best sushi I ever ate on a plane.

//I would love to feel the adrenalin-rush as a bus that I m sitting in flies off a ramp// "adrenalin-rush"? - don't you mean "damp underwear"?

"Welcome to the Doctor Strangelove experience. If you would care to make your way down the stairs to the War Room, we will be recreating the film's final scene for you shortly."

If you want to know how the villain felt in "Dirty Harry," all you have to do is kidnap a school bus full of children.
DrWorm, May 11 2011

// a school bus full of children //

       The horror, the horror …

Then again, it could be worse. There could be cats in there too.
