When I bake this, do I need to remove it?

       Possibly even before that.
MaxwellBuchanan, Dec 30 2007

I even clicked the "for" notch before I noticed the corn spirits.

I enjoy guns; I love things that go boom; I even enjoy bustin' things up in the dark. But getting likker'd up and handling firearms is just not on. Not even in pretend.

'Sides, you'd be amazed at how unoriginal this really is.

(A couple of guys I knew had a couple of cases of booze along on a night-time rabbit hunt. Eventually, they found out that the only things they could see worth a dang was their flashlights. After shooting those, they went for other light-sources they could see. After that was all done, they found out their pickup truck wouldn't run any more.)

       If only it were.

what [lurch] said... won't really work anyways, the flare from the shot will toast your night-vision so much you won't see a glow-in-the dark thingie.
FlyingToaster, Dec 30 2007

We have a skeet range near our house, and I occasionally hear the "pop! pop!" of their activity in the night time, so this must be baked.

       Night vision goggles .... ?

Depends on the kit .... the first generation stuff is doubtful, but the latest units coming into service would be fine - just a tough pricey.

       also:

       // element of danger //

Eh ? To who ? Skeet ranges are usually a fair way from anything that can be damaged, and the houses themselves are usually well protected. So where's the element of danger come from ? Difficulty, yes, indeed, but not danger.

I'm with lurch. As a former firearms safety instructor I have to be against guns 'n booze.

Would the real Dick Cheney please stand up, please stand up?
4whom, Jan 02 2008

       ...so I can tag him?

The element of danger probably would be at the business end of the shotgun.

Fish. We have enough hunting accidents in the daytime.
RayfordSteele, Jan 04 2008

[4whom] Dick Cheney would probably implement this idea with pheasants genetically engineered to produce luciferase in their feathers. Or peasants.
