A wordless international symbol with 120-degree rotational symmetry will indicate that the object so marked is liable to lead people in its environs to Do The Wrong Thing, usually in such a way as to defeat the original purpose of the object itself.

I was thinking that the symbol might somehow combine winking eyes and pointing fingers.

If the use of this symbol were to be placed under the control of a corruptible international commission, then it could become neatly self- referential.
