Bills, joined end to end, and wound around a roll.
The bills would be perforated to ease tearing.
Something would be satisfying about pulling out a big length of cash.
They can also be folded accordian style to fit in a regular wallet.
(?) Sheet of 4x8 $1 bills.

At least in the US, visitors to the official mint could, for a hefty surcharge, buy sheets of unseparated bills (about the size of gift wrapping paper) that are valid currency. You could perforate them yourself and tear off bills, although there aren't as many bills end-to-end per sheet as you'd like. |

Or, if you were really rich and a show-off, you could use it as wrapping paper |

You could wrap your whole body with the money tape. Then people could say "Wow, he's made of money!" |

jutta: I kinda like the way, when they're available, they're selling 32 dollar bills for $50... |

Clever and showy [+] Be great in a desktop tape dispenser. |

There was once a how-to for a money pad. A stack of crisp bills glued with rubber cement end-on into an empty check pad. Inserted into a personalized checkbook cover, it looked like you had custom printed money. |

Following [whatrock]'s DIY suggestion, there must be a way to do this yourself using a handy applicator. The applictor would applicate a row of dots of sticky to the edge of two banknotes. Then you would wait 10 seconds and the applicator would grab the cut edges and align them and press them together end to end and squeexe them between two teflon jaws. After another 10 seconds the sticky would have set or dried and the banknotes would be joined by perforations. When you pulled the perforations would separate leaving an un-noticeable dusty residue that would disappear. The applicator could have an auto-sheet feeder and take-up roll so you could load it at bedtime with a big pile of £10 notes and wake up in the morning to find a paper jam^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H nice neat roll. |
