It might be better to just get another gerbil.

Know your weight loss!
  (+4, -2)

This scale has a computer processor, memory capabilities and an LED screen able to show numbers and graphs.

What it does is save your weight (in pounds) and displays it on a graph to show your weight gain/loss over the past set amount of time. On the graph is a horizontal line that is your target weight. From the curves on the graph, you can calculate the effecivness of your diet.

Tanita Body Fat Scales http://www.tanita.com/BodyFatFAMILY.shtml
No graph. [phoenix, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 21 2004]

Taylor 5552-4012 10 Memory BodyFat Scale http://giftformysel..._BodyFat_Scale.html
"A graph just below the display shows where your body fat percentage ranks according to national health experts. The scale saves personal data for up to ten family members so there is no need to re-program information at every use." Still not quite it, but in the ballpark.        Perhaps your problem is memory scale. A good brain moisturizer helps.

While you're at it, include basic seasonality adjustment functions (for women, I mean). I've heard that their weight fluctuates as the moon blows, and maybe they'd like to know their "base" weight.

Body fat percentage and weight are different things, phoenix.

You can weigh 200 pounds and have a much lower body fat percentage than a guy that weighs 120 lbs. and has no muscle.

Nice idea, [Fox]. Program it to make an 'end of level' victory chime every time you reach your intended target for the week/month/year. +
