Light up scrabble shelf hints at possible words
People put scrabble tiles on a shelf. The shelf finds all the possible words that could be made from the scrabble dictionary, it lights up the unordered tiles, causing the person to be nearer guessing the word. | |
People put scrabble tiles on a shelf. The light up computerized shelf finds all the possible words that could be made from the scrabble dictionary, it then lights up the unordered tiles, causing the person to be nearer guessing the word. It would also do well to have an image sensor to look at the
board.
One of the main things here is to be able to call it "scrabble the educational edition" because it teaches word fluency, spelling, etc.
Possibly similar idea: Monopoly calculator that suggests which properties to get based on likelihood of random moves falling on group acquisitions and advising on houses.

There was an "e" already on the board. |

Yes, but it was in the corner on a triple word score. You're not allowed to go over the edges. And while we're at it, "zrtoxfa" is not, after all, another word for "car". |

Foreign words like 'zrtoxfa' and 'colour' aren't
allowed. |

A very long time ago, I developed a set of software tools to
rapidly profile, investigate and deal with lots and lots of
data at a commercial scale - the seed of which was a utility
to help me win (ok, cheat) at playing scrabble against my
far superior wife. I've been living off that (and derivatives
thereof) for the last 6 years. |

Isn't it funny that "cheating" and "teaching" are anagrams... |

...and 'Ducati' and 'education' |

If that's your idea of humour, forget a career in stand-up comedy. |

I think [8th] was referring to Thorpe, as in Jeremy. |
