Some people are incredibly lazy and just want to be told what to do.

Get someone a job by saying all the things they'll do and then they work and you take a cut of their salary.

Do I actually have to turn up for the job? Can't you hire a cheap immigrant to actually do the work? Pay them peanuts. Then you take a cut and pass me what's left of the wage. Win-win-win.

There is nothing as painful, degrading, and soul-crushing as looking for work. You put yourself out there over and over again, often spending two hours one one application between filling out forms HR used to do, writing a cover letter, and so forth. And 90% of the time you get NO response. You can try to get through to HR (half an hour on hold) just to be told you weren't selected or choose not to. You have no idea what you're doing wrong, if anything. For many different companies.

Wanting to avoid this amount of pain isn't being lazy.
