Laser baby amusement
Use lasers to place precisely shaped lightforms on the surface of a retina regardless of the shape of the developing lens | |
I think that holography can use phased laser speckle to create precisely shaped lightforms on the surface of a retina regardless of the shape of the lens
Thus a Baby amusement that used laser speckle to draw meaningfully structured shapes at the retina could provide crisp detailed vision fun to babies
It might be educational or developmentally beneficial as well as giving babies the ability to see clear shapes n colors prior to their eyes learning to focus
it is not like visually authentic it is just crisp shapes n bright colors

I think it might impair the development of the focusing mechanism of the eye if you start going around projecting completely sharp images directly onto the retina. |

Yes, but the smell of cooking retina has it's own reward. |

[Alx_xlA] Now that is a really interesting objection.
But in the future, nobody will look at anything
directly. Augmented reality, dude. |

I fail to see a downside. |

That's probably because you had a few sessions of prenatal laser amusement .... |
