Kilroy http://en.wikipedia...iki/Kilroy_was_here
Unless this is a reference to a Styx song that went totally over my head [ytk, Jul 24 2013]

the less interesting Kilroy http://sharetv.org/...ert_kilroy-silk.jpg

It's a WWII thing apparently... and that's who Chad is. http://en.wikipedia...iki/Kilroy_was_here
"Some time during the war, Chad and Kilroy met, and in the spirit of Allied unity merged, with the British drawing appearing over the American phrase." [tatterdemalion, Jul 24 2013]

I like the way you put the corn in there for texture...

       Whatt?

       (link)

It's clearly an idea for stickers (or magnets or what have you) that you put on things around the workplace to make it look like Kilroy Was There. So fishbun for what could be an acceptable (at best) idea but trying to seem too hip by inadequately describing it. [ ]

I bunned you Zimmy. Kilroy is an oft overlooked Icon.

I bunned you [Zimmy] because I miss you! Also, I used to draw Kilroy when I was a kid! [+]

There are coffee makers made by Bunn.

       and also by Fisch

Surely it should be called Chad's nose? I know that the image and the slogan have paired up but there's no need to assume that they have merged that far.

(I never know who Kilroy was till I read the link. When I was growing up at school we all knew the "Kilroy was here" tag and the Chad drawing, but never ever considered them in the least bit related.)

Definitely a market for a Kilroy sundial (UK excepted of course). For Transatlantic views we did have a Kilroy doing a TV show over here, like watching paint dry, but less intellectually taxing.

[+] I share [blissmiss]' feelings exactly.

       Who is Chad?
tatterdemalion, Jul 24 2013

I don't know, but they hung him in Florida.
MaxwellBuchanan, Jul 24 2013

Well the Wiki article on this was amazingly insightful and helped me to understand who Chad is, as well as Foo and several others.

It didn't help me to understand this idea however.
tatterdemalion, Jul 24 2013

You mean the article that I posted a link to?
ytk, Jul 24 2013

No, since I hadn't noticed you posted it, how could I? It might have been the Styx reference, made me glaze over.
