Keep your papers handy and your lunch cold

Often times I find myself standing around on a hot day, idly tapping my pen against my clipboard while waiting for some- one/-thing and wishing I could be having a quick snack instead. Carrying around a full lunchbox would be impractical and the ability to quickly pivot from noshing to noting is a must so the insulated clipboard is a must for the hungry bureaucrat on the go. Stash a few cheese sammies inside the clipboard along with your extra pens and no one will be the wiser!

Nice. You do know they make a cooler briefcase though right? You could just chill your clipboard amongst a charcuterie board of snack filled goodness.

Approved! Double it up as an icecube making tray and it's extra approved. [+]

Eating the clipboard would be an improvement over some food offered at the work cafe.

Being originally from Canada, the title made me think it was for cold weather use. Sort of like an oven glove attached to the back of a clipboard to keep your 'holding hand' warm while your writing hand gets to dive back into your pockets frequently for warmth. Perhaps a dual use version where the opening is reversed in the summer to keep cold things cool?
