internet business idea. Supply wrapping paper featuring the front page of the gift-recipients (sp?) home town newspaper.Would be a great addition for those 'significant' birthdays (ie 50,60,etc.). What do you think?

Many internet businesses do this already. [reap, Oct 04 2004]

Many internet businesses do this already [link]. Maybe not sold exclusively as gift wrap, but if you want to wrap your present in it, there's nothing stopping you. Expensive wrap though...

I'd like it more if it were gift wrap featuring small spot illustrations of people that you know in your home town.

       "50,60"? People live that long?

Hmmm... I don't know about this.

I'd croissant the idea of compressing home towns (the smaller ones anyhow) into wafer-thin extrusions for the wrapping up of presents, though.

My home town is small enough that it could be wrapped in it's own newspaper. If it had one.
