Homemade cakes
Professionally imperfect cakes for that home made deep fake | |
Mmm-perfect cakes that seal the deal that these are home made, hiding the secret that these are shop bought.
Possible cake attributes baked in include; uneven icing (cook's finger stroke is extra); slight, but not unenjoyable, over added baking soda taste; lop sided shape and, for the pièce de résistance,
a slightly singed base. Varying moisture content, on order, is difficult and can have uncontrolled results but the baker's will attempt for a fee.
No one would ever know. Just don't get seen coming out of the shop.

Isn't this a well-known and well-baked thing? Half the products in the supermarket are labelled "home-made". |
True, [poc], but they seldom look it. |
No they are not up to my usual standards, right enough! |
True, super market fare isn't the finest looking but it does have that production line look, which gives away the con. |
I'm not sure I get this. Just buy a regular store-bought
cake and go home and stick your finger in it and lick
the frosting off, and Viola, you have what you have. A
fake homemade dessert. Right? |
//that production line look// you haven't been in my kitchen then! |
[blissmiss] If you think you could get away with not having the desert recognised. These are professionally made fakes. |
[pocmloc] The opposite problem for you then, hard for them to believe it's not an industrial outcome. |
//production line look// //you haven't been in my kitchen// |
Apparently, when this virus thing is over, we *all* need to show up in
[pocmloc]'s kitchen. |
There's a limit to how many pies I can bake you know! Maybe I need to invest in more cold-storage units. |
I heard there was free cake at pocmloc's. |

All your cake are belong to us. |

Could take it to the extreme and make it look like
young kids made it. In other words, make it look
really
messed up complete with misspelled words on the
frosting message. Adds the "cute" factor. [+] |
Of course if you don't come right out and lie about it
being made by kids it might raise some eyebrows if
party guests think you made it. |
What are //misspelled works//? |
That would be an ironic misspelling of "words".
(fixed) |
Could be a side business in professionally made homemade professional looking homemade cakes. |

Careful there [tat], you're starting to recurse... best get out before you hit stack overflow... |
